While I was willing to give Microsoft a chance to make Internet Explorer better, it seems they have no plans to implement full PNG support, which is serriouly bad for all webdesigners. PNG is by far the best format out there, allowing webdesigners to use full alpha transparancy.
I could care less that there will be no further standalone IE version, but I do however think it is poor attitude by Microsoft to just throw away PNG support.
I was also hoping to hear that Microsoft would think about making their browser standard compliant, but there is also little chance of that.

Have you ever doubt, that IE is fucked up?
..sooner than one might have expected? Although I doubted for long that anything good would ever come out of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer department, and Tom Sommer still doubts (see this chat transcript on Microsoft TechNet saying there would not be any
I upgraded to I E 7 and have had nothing but problems since. I always recieve the message that I E has experienced a problem and must close, or my computer starts acting strange when I want to surf the web. Suddenly windows will close and sites will close w/o details or I will attempt to open a link and my system freezes until I restart I E. I never had these problems until I upgraded to IE7. And also, I keep recieving adds for virus protection that are nothing but viruses. WTF? It is avery good thing that I have Norton Internet Protection or the crap that IE 7 has would problably cause me to lose my entire sys. I realize now that I should ahve listened to other surfers and never upgraded to IE 7
I am in the same situation as ‘Pissed Off’. Tons of bugs, computer hanging constantly since i got IE7. A load of crap. Glad to have not lost money on this shit, only time has been wasted.
