I remember a while back when we we’re talking, on the Mozilla Newsgroups, about redesigning mozilla.org. The site is very old and does not really target end-users in any way.
The reason for not redesigning mozilla.org was that nobody could agree on how it should look or what it should contain
I just found out Mozilla has launched a new website which indeed has a very sexy design. It’s called MozillaFoundation.org (Fuck, I’m gonna have to learn to spell “Foundation” now :(). I have to say the design really surprised me. So far the impression I have gotten from all these l33t Mozilla coders was that design was irrelevant, functionality is key. Which is true, but why not have both?
The new site will really help mozilla grow.
I hope that, in the future, the entire mozilla.org will look like mozillafoundation.org. Out with the old, in with the new
I still don’t understand why they use that fucking ugly qute logo as the Mozilla Firebird logo, it’s… ugly. Why they promote a theme/look which only looks good in Windows XP is beyond me. Qute is ugly in any other OS

I agree that they shouldn’t use the Qute logo as the application icon for Firebird, but I strongly disagree that the Qute theme is ugly. It’s brilliant!
Through a post over at Tom Sommer’s weblog, I found this interesting disposable e-mail service called Mailinator.
Here’s how it works: you’re filling out a form and you need an e-mail address. All you have to do is think up an @mailinator.com add…
The content is THERE…
Now we just need the design :)
Hosting sucks of 2advanced. They can better just keep designing.
IE is a waste of time, especially the older versions. Swap to Firefox – you will get less viruses, less spyware, and the web works/looks better in it.
As for Gmail, they have a program that will notify you of new mail so you need to check it every two seconds. But then I’ve always prefered web based e-mail.
I’ve never gotten spam through Gmail, not like I do at Yahoo or Hotmail anyway. 200+ a day and that is just what is caught by the bulk folder.
I don’t see how everyone having Gmail makes it less desirable. It just means everyone desired it enough to get it, and now everyone has it. The only people I find that don’t want it are people who don’t like change, and don’t get much mail.
I am looking for that bloglines web API… :)
I don’t use qute. I use Orbit 3+1
And while it may look good in KDE and XP, it does not in windows 2000 (or XP plain)
> I don’t use qute. I use Orbit 3+1
And why do you complain about Qute? I think it’s just a matter of taste and everybody can use his favourite theme.
Because the default theme should be cool…
The one before qute was very nice
