Check out the new Dreamweaver MX 2004. It’s funny how Macromedia can keep releasing these products without fixing the most basic bugs. Bugs like Dreamweaver not understanding the short PHP tag
Macromedia needs to focus on turning Dreamweaver into a good coding editor, and not keep adding all those ASP extensions etc. etc. which is just pure crap.
It has only the most basic PHP coding functions, hints and features… Which is a shame.

I actually coded ASP today… scary
You are shouting out that you are a PHP programmer, but i seams that you forgot that php is a scripting language.. So maybe your are a PHP developer instead..
Join others and look at .NET’s C# and try a real scripting-language, instad of php … which is just pure crap in compare.
I don’t hate PHP nor Linux, but one thing is for sure….it ain’t microsoft! Microssoft is pretty much in the lead of what you can call programming and scripting!
Like morten wrote, take a look at the .NET framework and wake up – It is the future and thats it!

We won’t ever agree on what’s best.. ASP, PHP, .NET or whatever, so give it a rest… Code/Develop/Program what you like, that’s what I do.
Picking at detalis… I’m just telling you that there a error on your page, or to let you know that php is a scripting langauge.. And then i posted my opinion of php.. Is that forbidden.. Sorry for my opinion.. Or is it just opinion that mathers..

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, and as you may notice, it was not your opinion I commented on, rather saying there is no point in arguing or gathering a huge ASP army to storm this blog, flaming about which SCRIPTING LANGUAGE is the best.

I’ve been programming for 10 years now and I know about 15 languages. I will probably never come back to this site again so here it is.. C# is not a scripting language – you have a mute arguement.
