I am looking for a digital camera.
But the market is swamped with cameras and so I am looking for some help in selecting a good digical camera.
It has to be 5 MegaPixel or more.
It HAS to have rechargeable batteries
It would be nice with a Canon Powershot, or something similar :)
Any advice is appreciated
Dude get a sony cybershot 717 or just waght a few months for the new model to come out.

I recently got a sony cybershot dsc-f717. If you are serious about your photos, and your equipment, get one. This camera is amazing. I also recomment the ebook covering the camera, by Peter I Nova. which includes cool photoshop actions. It depends what you are looking for, this camera uses a lazer, has night-vision, two lcd screens, the best glass, and the list goes on and on. I’ll stop there.
The only thing is its not small. I dont mind, but some dont like the large L – shaped barrel.
Try out this site for tips and advice, I run it and I think you will be in heaven.

Don’t know much about the market either, but I just recently picked a camera for a friend to get me on his trip to Asia. I was also looking for at least 5 MP as well as a good zoom and as many creative possibilities as possible.
I picked the Pentax S 555. The equivalent model from Sony is the DSC-V1.

I have owned a Canon G2, G3 and plan on getting a G5. I have been very satisfied and would highly recommend a Gx.
I’m happy with my camera. It’s a dscf717
I suggest looking into the Fuji S7000 with it you get the most bang for your buck.

I recently purchased a Kodak EasyShare CX7530 digital camera with 5.0 mega pixels. So far I’ve enjoyed it a lot, it’s very easy to use and pictures are quite clear. I got it from ebay for cheaper price. You might want to try ebay if you haven’t though I don’t really like it.
