Merry Christmas – and a happy kernel

Posted December 26th, 2003. Filed under Uncategorized

Christmas is over, so I hope you all had a happy one.

I spent some of the time in my Christmas-holiday compiling and installing the new Linux 2.6.0 Kernel. You should think that would be strait forward, but it did require me to do a lot of google searching when iptables suddenly failed and when my kernel compiled corrupt.

But then again, you learn a lot from these type of errors, like how to do a Linux rescue :)

I made a mental note to write an article about doing a Linux Rescue, which got me thinking of getting/creating a site which ONLY contained good useful articles, experiences if you will. The only problem is finding a bloody domain name which hasn’t already been taken. Ideas are welcome
