I gotta say, despite the annoying registration part, I’m very impressed with Akismet. It’s caught 99% of all spam this blog has received.
Obviously one cannot deny the effectiveness of changing blog software as well, judging by the apache log, many bots are getting 404’s :D
That’s true, Akismet is VERY effective. Much kudos for that, and even more of that for them offering Akismet as an API that many blog systems can and do hook into. :-)
I found the registration to be annoying. I have no problem registering on wordpress.com or where ever it was, but finding the damn key after registration, proved to be a massive pain – dunno if it was just me.
